What Outcomes Matter in Recovery in Treatment for Depression?: Survey of Young Adults from a Diverse Health System - ALACRITY Pilot Project Presentation series
Summary This presentation shares preliminary findings from an ALACRITY pilot project using an explanatory sequential design to explore experiences of recovery/flourishing among young adults with major depressive disorder in the CHA outpatient psychiatry department. We examine the factors participants identify as most important to their recovery, and then describe the relationship between mental illness severity and levels of flourishing/recovery. Finally, we briefly present preliminary qualitative findings aiming to understand patient experiences of addressing and flourishing as part of their psychiatric care at CHA.
